Limestone
Many older buildings have durable limestone flooring -- the chalky, porous type typical of most French and Spanish limestone. Etched by acids, including soft drinks, limestone easily absorbs oils and other liquids that can cause stains. Limestone comes in a variety of colors including black, gray, white, yellow and brown.
Since limestone is a softer stone, it is important that it be cleaned only with neutral pH detergents and with a lower PSI, and then only if the grout is in good condition and intact.
The Stone Experts, Inc. stone technicians are very skilled and educated in cleaning and restoring your limestone flooring.
